Mezzy & Just Joe

Mezzy is a first generation Haitian American. Growing up, her family never really understood the idea of succeeding in radio, so she did just that. She was able to land a radio job right out of college, and has been living and breathing radio ever since. Although she's young in the game, she will definitely make her mark. When she's not rocking out every morning from 6-10am on Party 105's "The Wake Up with Mezzy and Just Joe" you can catch her on mezinyamental.com covering events and getting the most exclusive interviews!

Hi, I'm Alina! I was born in Romania, in the region known as Transylvania. Yes, that's where Dracula was from, and I can tell you the real history behind the Hollywood movie. I lived in Sacramento, California for a few years, but Long Island has been my home for most of my life.

I fell in love with radio in elementary school. I probably listened to the radio more than I watched TV, and I would even make my mom take me to events so I could meet the my favorite radio personalities. I went to Hofstra University, and quickly made WRHU Radio Hofstra University my home away from home. I did any and everything I could there - I hosted the morning show, reported serious news, produced a Top 40 music show, I was even on air during the Spanish music show a few times (good thing I paid attention in my high school Spanish classes).

I love pizza, wine, my friends, celebrity news and animals - not in that order. I'm so excited to talk to you on Party 105! I love meeting people and finding out about their lives! Feel free to call me and request a song, give a shout out or just to say hello.

Just Joe

What's up I'm Just Joe!!! At 1st look you would never guess I'm into Star Wars, read comics heavily (Deadpool fan) and play MMORPGs (right now playing SWTOR) but that's my me. My life is filled with random outlandish weirdness! I fell into radio by mistake trying to impress some girl in college that worked at the college radio station. Needless to say I ended up falling in love with radio and not the girl. So I have been on this journey in radio for a while now and I'm here to make you think, smile, laugh, or just say what the hell is this guy ranting about. Cool little fun facts about me..I'm anti-Instagram and don't have one, I can actually DJ (I go by DJ Frozac), I'm president of the Kanye West Long Island Fan Club and I'm horrible at French kissing (according to ex's) .

Hip Hop Mike

If you were to ask Mike Turkowitz, aka Hip Hop Mike, where he saw himself 10 years ago, he would have told you either tossing pizza or cutting hair somewhere on Ave U in Brooklyn.

Born and raised in New York City, while moving across the five boroughs and Long Island, Mike has always had a passion for anything having to do with Hip Hop and New York radio. As a teenager, Mike was sent to a group home on Long Island where he spent his time listening to his favorite stations and reaching out to personalities he idolized via social media. During the course of that time he received a response from Peter Rosenberg, who gave him some advice and encouragement. Upon leaving the group home, Hip Hop Mike moved to Marine Park, Brooklyn to finish High School and work part time as a barber.

In 2008 Mike would run into Rosenberg at a concert and asked if there was any work he could do for him. Rosenberg agreed to bring Mike on as his personal assistant where he got his first break in entertainment and eventually transitioned to a job in radio. Moving to Long Island while focusing on a future as one of New Yorks premier radio personalities/ Dj’s Mike continues to break new artists and bring his message of remaining genuine to Party 105.

Hey, what's up! My name is Dave, (which is short for David) born and raised on Long Island. Like many of you when someone asks where I am from I usually say New York and hope they assume somewhere cooler, like the city. I've wanted to be on radio for a very long time and that dream almost got derailed when I was 16 because someone told me my voice was really boring and monotone, I have recently adjusted that... I hope.

If you listen to me at the times below, you will hear the great party music that we all love, along with interesting stories, told with a mix of sarcasm, some unavoidable "dad jokes" (even though I'm not a dad), and of course all the integrity the Internet provides.

In all seriousness I love all kinds of music, sports, and the ridiculous stories that pop-culture provides on a daily basis. Please hit me up on our facebook page facebook.com/party105 with requests, comments or if you're just lonely.

Born and raised in Queens, New York, StacieSpins, is a DJ and radio personality. Stacie grew up in a strict West Indian household; one in which her mother, the typical Caribbean parent, persistently encouraged her to become a lawyer, or a doctor. However, Stacie’s dreams took her into the City College of New York (CCNY) where she successfully majored in Public Relations and Advertising.
With little knowledge of how to get into the entertainment industry, StacieSpins, as she is now referred to, felt that the closest she could get to where she wanted to be was to do something in Entertainment PR. On recall is the fact that, during her Junior year at college, Stacie landed a Publicity PR internship at Hot97. It was so instrumental in the decision-making process for her that, after interning at HOT97 for a number of weeks, Stacie felt it in her heart that she was meant to be behind the microphone, front and center, rather than function behind the scenes. Her internship having ended, StacieSpins started her career at iHeartMedia a few short weeks after her graduation.
Presently, Stacie can be heard nights on Party105.3 or mixing at a club or event in the city!
