Click Da Cosigner has never been one to follow the rules. The Long Island Entertainer's drive behind the turntables is due to his refusal to duplicate anything that has ever been done before. As a result of his connection to music since childhood, Click Da Cosigner has had his musical tastes molded spanning an eclectic variety of genres. This influence has carried over into his music styling you hear today. He spends hours digging through records worthy of creatively remixing some of music's most desirable, and ear catching songs.
Click Da Cosigner's love for music was sparked as a child, growing up surrounded by a family of musicians ranging from singers to drummers and also guitarists. Classical, big band, jazz, doo-wop, hip hop and rock were all early influences that lead him to begin singing and practicing percussion in and outside of school. When he was a child his parents would yell at him when scratching the records, saying "you're not supposed to do that, you'll ruin the records", a memory he laughs at still today.
As he got older, he began DJing private parties while seeking out the specific goal of gaining residencies at the most popular local clubs to be seen as a serious professional DJ. He worked anywhere he could, hoping to catch the attention of big name promoters and club owners of all the hot spots he would hear about. He eventually scored his big break at the young age of 16, earning his first residency at a major venue in the Hamptons. It was then he coined the following quote that he lives by to this day. "Music is the most powerful force on the face of the earth, it controls everything".
Click Da Cosigner recognizes DJ Ev, DJ Mimic, Laidback Luke, DJ Qbert, Chuckie, DJ Kid Capri, Deadmau5, DJ Enuff , Kaskade, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Avicii, Eddie Tegone, Vic Latino, DJ Skribble Afrojack, and many more. There have been so many influences who've helped mold him into the DJ he is today. He says the most indescribable feeling is being able to play music to a packed crowd and feeling in complete control of every emotion on the dance floor. As the years continued, he worked harder to develop his style which caught the attention of a major Long Island radio station in 2004. He was given the opportunity to spin live on Party 105.3, a station he grew up idolizing. Working early on crafting his skills on the microphone made it easy to relate to both radio listeners as well as club goers with his signature voice.
While attending Manhattan School of Music, Click Da Cosigner was able to spend his off time continuing to DJ nightclubs. This gave him the opportunity to work closely with Fat Nappa Recordings which lead to his signing with label Bad Boy/Chinatown Records as a DJ for an up and coming artist. He has also DJayed for artists such as Danity Kane, Chris Brown, and many others at the beginning of their careers, spinning records as often as seven days a week at some of the most popular Long Island and Manhattan clubs, venues, concerts, and festivals alongside some of his favorite Dj's, and major artists, some in which remain close friends of his to this day. he continues to pay homage to these people every chance he gets. and says how lucky he has been thus for to work with, and befriend some of these amazing individuals. One things for sure Click Da Cosigner has been, and always has remained humble throughout his entire career, and that definitely goes a long way in show business.
Click Da Cosigner still commands crowds three to four nights a week throughout the tri-state area in a variety of venues. You can catch Click on his weekly slot on Party 105.3 at his all new time, Saturday's www.party105.com or download the Party 105 app to your mobile device. In closing Click Da Cosigner says, "Giving up is never an option. Quitting is a weakness that I cannot afford to have". One look at his resume proves he’s in this game for the long haul.where he continues to showcase his talents spinning hip-hop, R&B, reggae, reggaeton, house, trap, and EDM.
