Hi, I'm Alina! I was born in Romania, in the region known as Transylvania. Yes, that’s where Dracula was from, and I can tell you the real history behind the Hollywood movie. I lived in Sacramento, California for a few years, but Long Island has been my home for most of my life.

I fell in love with radio in elementary school. I probably listened to the radio more than I watched TV, and I would even make my mom take me to events so I could meet the my favorite radio personalities. I went to Hofstra University, and quickly made WRHU Radio Hofstra University my home away from home. I did any and everything I could there - I hosted the morning show, reported serious news, produced a Top 40 music show, I was even on air during the Spanish music show a few times (good thing I paid attention in my high school Spanish classes).

I love pizza, wine, my friends, celebrity news and animals - not in that order. I’m so excited to talk to you on Party 105! I love meeting people and finding out about their lives! Feel free to call me and request a song, give a shout out or just to say hello.

Just Joe

What's up I'm Just Joe!!! At 1st look you would never guess I'm into Star Wars, read comics heavily (Deadpool fan) and play MMORPGs (right now playing SWTOR) but that's my me. My life is filled with random outlandish weirdness! I fell into radio by mistake trying to impress some girl in college that worked at the college radio station. Needless to say I ended up falling in love with radio and not the girl. So I have been on this journey in radio for a while now and I'm here to make you think, smile, laugh, or just say what the hell is this guy ranting about. Cool little fun facts about me..I'm anti-Instagram and don't have one, I can actually DJ (I go by DJ Frozac), I'm president of the Kanye West Long Island Fan Club and I'm horrible at French kissing (according to ex's) .

Eddie Tegone

At an early age, Eddie, was constantly exposed to music while growing up in Sayville, Long Island. At his home, a wide variety of genres were played, including, classical music, country, rock, jazz and everything in between. Music has always been a huge part of his life. His brother Anthony, was the first one to ever spark his interest in dance music in 1987, “before that I used to make fun of dance music, if you can believe that!! I was a metal head haha”

In 1988, while listening to a dance music formatted radio station (Hot 103.5 NYC) and by watching a friend spin records at parties, Eddie Tegone’s interest in DJing peaked. From that point forward, dance music and DJing got into his heart and soul, and he took an instant love to the art of spinning records. Eddie would go out to the stores and spend any money that he had on new 12” singles (vinyl records). Beginning with the freestyle/house era, Eddie’s earliest DJ influences included DJ’s such as Glenn Friscia, Franco Iamello, Robert Clivilles, David Cole, Scott Blackwell, to name just a few. Eddie would spin records for hours in his bedroom “Like all us DJ’s did when we first started out.”

Finally, getting DJ equipment of his own, Eddie ventured out and played house parties from time to time. In 1995, Eddie landed a job at Amazin Skates roller rink in Centereach, Long Island. He spun there until they closed in 1996. Come 1997, Eddie then linked up with DJ Spice who gave him a spot on Club BLI (106.1), Saturday nights from midnight – 2am. At the same time, Eddie got a job at the 56 Fighter Group (Club 56) in Farmingdale which he spent 5 years as the Saturday night resident DJ. The following year (Memorial Day weekend in 1998) Party 105 was born. At that point, still DJing at Club 56, Eddie also worked in Mothers Music in Patchogue, Long Island, selling records & CDs, later (2004) of course opening his own record shop.

In late 1998, Eddie linked up with Chris ‘KC’ Anderson who had just landed a job on Party 105 in promotions. Eddie would hang out with KC and the rest of the Party crew when ever Party 105 had a nightclub appearance. In November of 1998 he gave a demo CD to Vic Latino & Skyywalker, who then gave Eddie his first chance at spinning on the airwaves of Party 105. From that point on he proceeded to move into a weekly spot on Saturday afternoons from noon – 2pm doing the Matinee Mix with Babblin Bill Plax, playing freestyle and classic house music. As time went on, Eddie had opportunities of doing more shows on Party 105 such as the Weekend Warm-Up, the Power Hour, and various other mixshows. Then in 2003, the Program Director of Party 105 at the time, Andre Ferro, gave Eddie the opportunity to do his own show, the Saturday Night House Party along with his co-host & long time friend, Froggy. Together they brought the energy onto the Saturday night, spinning an all house music format which has been Eddie’s true love and passion for years.

Currently, Eddie is spinning on Sunday nights from 7pm – 11pm on Party 105, with The Sunday Night Dance Factory. The Dance Factory features much of the popular and underground dance music from the late 70’s through today. It also features DJ Impact (Party105) as well as other weekly guest DJ’s from the area.

Over the years, Eddie’s history of nightclub DJing extends into many venues throughout Long Island such as, 56 Fighter Group (Club56), Carringtons, Planet Dublin, Vanderbilt, The Drink, Turtle Bay East, Beach Bar, CPI, Neptunes, Ice Palace, Lotus (NYC), Ice/Origin, Savannah, Bianco, Amber, Whitehouse, Four, Flynn’s (Fire Island), Nico, Venue 56, Sugar, and others as well.

“House music is one thing that for as long as I live, will be a true love & passion in my life”

Hey, what's up! My name is Dave, (which is short for David) born and raised on Long Island. Like many of you when someone asks where I am from I usually say New York and hope they assume somewhere cooler, like the city. I've wanted to be on radio for a very long time and that dream almost got derailed when I was 16 because someone told me my voice was really boring and monotone, I have recently adjusted that... I hope.

If you listen to me at the times below, you will hear the great party music that we all love, along with interesting stories, told with a mix of sarcasm, some unavoidable "dad jokes" (even though I'm not a dad), and of course all the integrity the Internet provides.

In all seriousness I love all kinds of music, sports, and the ridiculous stories that pop-culture provides on a daily basis. Please hit me up on our facebook page facebook.com/party105 with requests, comments or if you're just lonely.
